Grapeseed, San Andreas
This weekend was the Grapeseed Harvest Fair, an event where locals and farmers alike get together. The events included a tractor pull, demolition derby and lawn-mower race as well as food trucks, concession stands, a farmers' market and the fair's famous fried dough. "This year's event was a great success," says fair coordinator John Ordell, "We wouldn't have done it without our amazing participants and volunteers!"
LSCoSD, SADEP, LSCoFR, SAPAAU, SAHP and SAMR were all on site and reported no major issues, although one of the lawn mowers did catch fire during the race. Sunday morning, however, did have a motor vehicle accident, in which LSCoSD believes one driver was intoxicated. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to Sandy Shores Medical Center but is expected to be okay.
