LSPD was performing a monthly exercise where a LSPD helicopter would zip line there N.O.O.S.E agents to the pier in the case of a high priority call. With this happening every first sunday of the month at noon photographers and recorders gathered at the pier to take shots of the exercise including the 20 squad cars responding. Near the end when the last helicopter was to zip line there agents down one of the agents was seen free falling out of the helicopter. A famous photographer, Benoit Paillé, captured the falling agent in mid-air. The agent was spotted landing in the Canal from the Pacific Ocean to the boat cove by the helicopter pads. The helicopter immediately landed at the Helipads and provided medevac for the critical agent. The agent was pronounced dead at the landing of the helicopter at Central Los Santos Medical Center. LSPD and N.O.O.S.E are investigating in the death of the agent. The agents name is not being released until family is notified and investigation is completed. LSPD did release a statement stating that, "We had miscommunication in the helicopter and faulty equipment." More updates to come next week when the investigation is predicted to close.
