Central Los Santos County was caught by surprise earlier today when a tornado touched down near Sandy Shores and made its way to Grapeseed. Buildings, trees, rail cars, vehicles and trailers littered streets and fields. An incident lasting about five minutes prompted the activation of the county's emergency action plan. LSCoSD, LSCoFR, SAMR, SADOT, SADEP, SAHP and PAAU all responded swiftly and efficiently to protect the citizens and mitigate the damage. County emergency officials additionally requested the San Andreas National Guard to be activated and respond to assist in the disaster relief. About 35 families are displaced, 4,000 Los Santos Power and Water customers are without utilities and it is estimated damage is in the millions.
